Job Description

School Caretaker – Immediate Start!

Location: Romsey, HampshireHours: Monday to Friday, full time, long term with a chance of going to permanent.Start Date: ASAP

We are urgently seeking a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join a friendly school team in Romsey. This is a full-time position, working five days per week, with an immediate start available. This could become a permanent position for the right candidate. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Opening and closing the school premises
  • General maintenance and repairs
  • Ensuring health & safety standards are met
  • Groundskeeping and cleaning duties
  • Supporting with deliveries and site security

Requirements:

  • Previous caretaking or maintenance experience preferred
  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
