Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and empathetic Support Worker to assist a blind professional in her workplace. The role involves providing practical support to enable her to carry out her job effectively and independently. The client is highly capable and autonomous but requires assistance with specific tasks due to her visual impairment.

Location: Bradford

Pay: £12.21 per hours

Hours: Tuesday and Wednesday usually 9am-3pm (varies depending on client’s needs)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide sighted assistance during work tasks, including reading printed materials, navigating digital content, and managing visual aspects of meetings or documents.
  • Support with using technology (e.g., screen readers, accessible software) when needed.
