Our client, a leading full-service UK law firm, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Solicitor with over 10 years of post-qualification experience in Banking and Finance. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in structured finance and/or funds finance transactions.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

  • Act as a legal advisor for clearing banks and other institutional lenders.
  • Provide expert advice and representation on banking and finance matters, with a specific focus on structured finance and funds finance transactions.
  • Lead and oversee complex financial transactions from structuring and negotiation to execution and closing, ensuring compliance with client policies and requirements and operating best practices.
  • Develop and maintain existing client relationships, enhancing the firm's reputation in the banking and finance sector.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must be a qualified lawyer in England and Wales with at least 10 years of experience in banking and finance, acquired at a leading regional or national firm.
  • Demonstrated high degree of sector knowledge and commercial awareness.
  • Proven experience in acting for lenders on structured finance and/or funds finance transactions.
  • Strong ability to manage and develop client relationships.
  • Experienced in managing and mentoring junior solicitors and trainees.
