Capital Accountant
- Hourly Rate: £14.33

Our client is looking for a Capital Accountant to join their Finance department. This role offers a hybrid working model and is ideal for someone with a strong background in capital accounting and a keen eye for detail.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Analyse complex financial information within tight deadlines, including project plans and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards and internal financial controls related to capital and taxation.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors to manage both management and statutory aspects of capital accounting.
- Communicate policy changes or practice adjustments within the organisation.
- Independently manage and prioritise workload to meet departmental objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Fully qualified member of a CCAB body or actively studying towards such a qualification.
- Actively undertaking Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- Extensive experience with IFRS accounting standards and internal financial controls.
- Proficient in integrated financial IT systems and VAT regulations.
- Strong analytical skills for rapid interpretation of complex information.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated experience in capital accounting from both a management and statutory perspective.
