Are you an experienced finance professional looking to make a real impact in education? We are seeking a Trust Finance Manager to join an excellent Multi Academy Trust, supporting 8 primary schools and working closely with the Chief Finance & Operations Officer, CEO, Trustees, and Headteachers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on Trust-wide financial management, compliance, and reporting.
- Prepare annual budgets and consolidated management accounts.
- Ensure adherence to DfE requirements, UK SORP, and the Academies Trust Handbook.
- Oversee audit processes and statutory returns.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and processes.
- Provide financial due diligence for schools joining the Trust.
What We’re Looking For:
- CIPFA certificate in financial reporting, CCAB qualification or equivalent, ideally.
- Experience working in a similar school or Academy financial management role.
- Or experience in financial management working in a charity / fair trade organisation.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and charity/company legislation.
- Experience in budgeting, cash flow management, and audit coordination.
- Ability to influence and support finance teams across multiple schools.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
