Are you an experienced finance professional looking to make a real impact in education? We are seeking a Trust Finance Manager to join an excellent Multi Academy Trust, supporting 8 primary schools and working closely with the Chief Finance & Operations Officer, CEO, Trustees, and Headteachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on Trust-wide financial management, compliance, and reporting.
  • Prepare annual budgets and consolidated management accounts.
  • Ensure adherence to DfE requirements, UK SORP, and the Academies Trust Handbook.
  • Oversee audit processes and statutory returns.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and processes.
  • Provide financial due diligence for schools joining the Trust.

What We’re Looking For:

  • CIPFA certificate in financial reporting, CCAB qualification or equivalent, ideally.
  • Experience working in a similar school or Academy financial management role.
  • Or experience in financial management working in a charity / fair trade organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and charity/company legislation.
  • Experience in budgeting, cash flow management, and audit coordination.
  • Ability to influence and support finance teams across multiple schools.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
