We are seeking a Y6 Teacher for a temporary position starting as soon as possible until April, with the potential for extension. This role is initially offered through Reed at 0.8 FTE, but there is flexibility depending on the candidate's availability for either 0.6 or full-time hours.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and effective teaching lessons to Year 6 students.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.
- Prepare students for end-of-year assessments.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to plan and coordinate lessons.
- Monitor and report on the progress of students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching in Year 6 or similar settings.
- Strong understanding of the current curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching style based on the needs of the students.
