Location: The Phoenix Centre, Blackpool (Hybrid) Contract: Temporary – 12 weeks Hours: 37 per week, variable shifts between 07:00 and 22:20 (covering 7 days) About the Role Would you like to work in an environment where no two days are the same? Vitaline is Blackpool’s Community Alarm Centre, dedicated to supporting independent living through advanced technology and personal contact via our Mobile Warden service. As a Vitaline First Responder , you will help vulnerable people maintain or regain independence and improve their quality of life in their own homes. Key Responsibilities Provide monitoring and emergency response services via personal contact or communication equipment. Deliver an out-of-hours service to other Council departments. Respond to medical and emergency situations, offering reassurance and practical assistance. Use technology and accurate data entry to support service delivery. What We’re Looking For Motivated, flexible, and resilient individuals with excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to change in a fast-moving, customer-focused service. Professional and courteous approach. Essential Requirements Two years’ references and employment history checks. Qualifications as per JDPS. Full UK driving licence. Child & Adult Workforce DBS (Update Service). Keyboard and computer skills. Previous experience is desirable but not essential – full training and support will be provided.
