Baggage Hall Agent

REED Business Support are pleased to be working with one of Edinburgh’s fastest growing Global Airport Services Company, who are looking to recruit a ‘Baggage Hall Agent’ on a Temporary basis. As the Baggage Hall Agent, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of passenger luggage. Working behind the scenes in the baggage hall, you’ll be responsible for sorting, scanning, and transferring baggage safely and on time.

Details:

Part Time  

Saturday & Sunday

£13/hr

Work Pattern – 4am – 12pm (Potential for Extension)

Temporary Role

Start Date: Thursday (19/06/2025) (For Training)

Location – Edinburgh Airport

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort and route baggage to the correct flights and carousels
• Operate baggage handling equipment and conveyor systems
• Assist with loading and unloading baggage from carts and containers
• Identify and report any damaged or unclaimed luggage
• Work closely with airline and airport staff to resolve baggage issues
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Follow all safety and security procedures at all times

What we're looking for:

• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, manual environment
• Flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Previous experience in an airport or logistics environment is a plus (but not essential – full training provided)
