Join a dynamic and growing 11-partner practice based in North London, known for its high-quality client base and variety of work. We are seeking an ambitious Audit Semi-Senior who is passionate about their career development and eager to harness the full potential of their professional qualifications.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Work closely with staff members and clients to assist in planning and completion of audits.
- Lead several audits with exposure to all areas of audit testing including audit planning and completion.
- Prepare financial statements under FRS102, FRS102-1A, and IFRS (beneficial).
- Communicate audit findings effectively to senior management and clients.
- Ensure audit files are completed to a high standard and within deadlines.
- Identify opportunities to provide added value to clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial reporting, auditing standards, and company law.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- ACA/ACCA student or part-qualified with a minimum of 18 months’ experience within a UK practice.
- Experience in leading audits and preparing financial statements.
- Proficient in using Caseware and CCH software (beneficial).
- Experience with groups and consolidation (beneficial).
- Strong communication skills and ability to form professional relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a professional but fun personality, and a strong academic background.
- Non-academic extra-curricular interests demonstrating leadership, entrepreneurial flair, or a passion to succeed.
- Ability to commute and work from our office in Finchley Central.
