We’re working with a number of welcoming primary schools across Exeter and nearby towns who are looking for enthusiastic and nurturing Teaching Assistants to support their Early Years and Key Stage 1 classrooms.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day activities
- Helping children with learning, play, and personal development
- Creating a safe and engaging environment for pupils
- Assisting with classroom setup and resource preparation
- Providing one-to-one or small group support where needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with young children (Nursery, EYFS, or KS1)
- A caring and patient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification (desirable but not essential)
- DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
