Our client, Oldham council is seeking a Team Manager to join their MASH Team. Fantastic payrate of £40 per hour!

Responsibilities of this role:

  • Overseeing the team's performance, providing supervision and guidance to social workers, and ensuring staff development and training.
  • Provide support and guidance to social workers.
  • Managing duty and monitoring incoming referrals, identifying urgent safeguarding concerns, and ensuring timely progression through the MASH process.
  • Monitoring performance and ensuring that timescales are met, and that managerial decisions are taken and recorded within appropriate frameworks.
  • Facilitating partnership with other professionals and agencies to ensure the best outcomes for individuals and families, including sharing information and coordinating interventions.
  • Making decisions on the thresholds for safeguarding concerns, ensuring that appropriate responses are made in a timely manner.

Requirements of this role:

  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have minimum of 3 years Post Qualifying experience.
  • Must have experience as a Social Work Team Manager.
  • Must have significant experience of working with complex and challenging children, adults and families.
  • Must have experience of multi-agency working in relation to meeting adults' needs.
