Job Description

Our client, Bolton council is seeking an Adult’s Social Worker to join their Safeguarding Team.

Fantastic payrate of £30-£33 per hour!

Responsibilities of this role:

  • You will receive and assess referrals about potential abuse or neglect, determining the appropriate course of action to protect the individual.
  • You will conduct investigations into allegations of abuse and neglect, gathering information and evidence to understand the situation and assess the level of risk.
  • You will ensure the safety and well-being of adults found to be at risk. This may involve arranging for support services, providing accommodation, or taking legal action to protect the individual.
  • You will collaborate with other agencies, such as the police, health services, and other social care providers, to ensure a coordinated and effective response to safeguarding concerns.

Requirements of this role:

  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England
  • Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
