Our Client, Blackpool Council, is seeking an Adult's Social Worker to join their Learning Disability Team. Fantastic pay rate of £30.66 per hour!

Responsibilities of this role:
  • To enrich the lives of our service users and relatives at all times through delivering person centred care, ensuring engagement in structured day activities, development of Independent Living Skills and move on when appropriate.
  • To professionally manage safeguarding issues, liaising with all stakeholders and working at all times to support the individual and protect the reputation and interest of the Services.
  • To create and develop strong internal and external relationships that will help strengthen the brand and competitive advantage, i.e. relationships with Local Authority, CQC and Primary Care Trust commissioners as a healthcare partner.
  • To be the Operational Lead within the organisation to ensure high quality good practice is delivered consistently and maintained to satisfactory care standards.
Requirements of this role:
  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in social work, social work degree or equivalent).
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years Post Qualifying experience working as a social worker.
