REED Accountancy and Finance are working exclusively on behalf of a Forward Thinking Accountancy Practice (established 10 years ago), who are recruiting for an ambitious and experienced Accounts Senior. My client prides itself on helping up and coming entrepreneurs to develop their businesses by offering advice to generate revenue and to reach their strategic goals. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Practice Senior with 3 - 5 years experience looking to add value and input within a smaller practice firm.
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
Working Hours: Full Time (preferred), although part time will be considered
Working Arrangement: Hybrid / flexible working offered
Qualifications:
- ACA / ACCA Qualified / Part Qualified
- Accountancy Practice experience - at least 3 - 5 years
- Experience in tax planning and compliance
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in accounting software
Role Description:
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks and client management, including financial statement preparation, tax returns, and client communication. They will also handle tax planning and compliance, as well as provide guidance to junior accountants. Managing the staff team (3) and the opportunity to grow the team, recruit for a trainee and support their development. Opportunity to participate in the growth of the business and business plan alongside the current Director.
