Reed accountancy are working with a fantastic organisation who are a leading provider in their industry who are looking to hire an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Assistant to join their dynamic finance team on a permanent full-time basis.
Role Responsibilities:
- Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
- Assisting with payment runs and maintaining accurate records
- Matching, batching and coding
- Processing credit notes
- Assisting the head of department with key tasks
- Ensuring VAT is accounted for on all invoices
- Supporting month-end close activities
- Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in an accounts payable role
