Job Description

Reed Further Education are supporting a college in Birmingham in their search for a passionate and knowledgeable A Level History and Politics Lecturer to join their team on a temporary basis.

Role Details:

Location: BirminghamHours: Approximately 10 hours per weekStart Date: ImmediateDuration: Temporary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective A Level History and Politics lessons
  • Support students in achieving academic success
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and assessment

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS, QTLS)
  • A degree in History, Politics, or a related subject
  • Experience teaching A Level History and/or Politics
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
