Solutions Architect
This is a new opportunity for a Solutions Architect to spearhead our client\’s technical initiatives, focusing on crafting and developing solutions that address specific architectural challenges while aligning with their business goals. This pivotal role involves translating system risks and constraints into actionable technical requirements and overseeing the delivery of strategic objectives.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Develop architectural blueprints that translate business and technical requirements into actionable strategies to meet business objectives, documenting all solution architecture designs and analyses.
- Establish and maintain principles, guidelines, standards, and solution patterns to ensure decisions are in line with the enterprise\’s future-state architecture vision.
- Analyse business drivers and capabilities (both present and future) to determine corresponding enterprise solution designs and necessary changes to achieve desired business outcomes.
- Oversee the evaluation and selection of software product standards, services, and the design configurations for both standard and bespoke software solutions.
- Lead the design and analysis phases for the implementation of solutions architecture across various business applications or technologies, guided by the overarching business strategy.
- Generate architectural designs that guide and contextualise the development of solutions across products, services, projects, and systems, including applications, technologies, processes, and information.
- Support the Lead Architect in developing a multi-year architectural roadmap, integrating this vision into the IT planning, annual budgets, and forecasts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines, such as technical or infrastructure architecture, application development, or cloud development.
- Demonstrated ability in developing architectural blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps.
- Proven track record in implementing digital transformation strategies that unlock new business opportunities and boost revenue growth and productivity.
- Skilled in translating future-state business capabilities and requirements into detailed solution architecture requirements.
- Well-versed in digitalisation within a regulated environment and experienced in managing complex, competing projects.
- Comprehensive understanding of various system development life cycle methodologies, including waterfall, spiral, agile software development, rapid prototyping, incremental, and DevOps.
