A global leader in technology and business solutions is seeking experienced 3rd Line Core Support Engineers to join their embedded team. You will play a key role in supporting multi-site domains and core services, from initial system build through to live operations. Working within an Agile framework, you’ll ensure the highest standards of reliability and performance.
The roles are based in Central London and Basingstoke and will be based onsite due to the nature of the work. The roles sit within the defence and security space and therefore the successful candidates will need to have active DV clearance. The daily rate for these positions is up to £650 per day via an Umbrella company (inside IR35) and they are initial 6-month contracts with high likelihood of extension.
What You’ll Do- Provide 3rd Line Support for:
- VMWare and Operating Systems
- MS Platform Engineering
- Linux Platform Engineering
- Proven experience in 3rd Line Support
- Strong knowledge of Operating Systems and VMWare
- Familiarity with MS and Linux platforms
- Experience with environment monitoring, backup solutions, and PKI
- Ability to work in a secure environment and provide on-call support
