Angard Staffing is looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as flexible (temporary) Mail & Parcel Sorters with Royal Mail

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Mail & Parcel Sorter, you’ll be at the heart of our operations:
- Unloading mail and parcels
- Sorting items by postcode and moving them through the warehouse
- Working efficiently to meet tight deadlines – some teams sort over a million items in a single shift!
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need to have worked for us before (we love new people!), but experience in warehouse or sorting work is a plus.
Our ideal candidate
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced setting
- Able to lift mail bags up to 11kg and parcels up to 30kg and push trolleys/yorks up to 250kg
- Comfortable standing and walking for long periods
- Reliable and flexible with good attention to detail
- No previous experience needed – training provided
- Comfortable switching between tasks
Pay & Shifts
The pay rates apply for Mail Sorter roles within our Mail Centres and Parcel Hubs. The rates displayed are payable for the entirety of your shift where the shift description criteria is met. Rates could be subject to change during busy periods; Angard staffing will communicate any change to your pay rates in advance.
- Day Shift — STARTS AND FINISHES BETWEEN 05:31 – 19:59 — £12.54
- Dawn Shift — STARTS BETWEEN 02:01 – 04:00 — £13.40
- Early 05:00 — STARTS BETWEEN 04:01 – 05:00 — £12.99
- Early 05:30 — STARTS BETWEEN 05:01 – 05:30 — £12.77
- Evening — FINISHES BETWEEN 20:00 – 21:39 — £13.18
- Lates — FINISHES BETWEEN 21:40 – 01:59 — £13.90
- Nights — THREE HOURS ACROSS 23:00 – 05:00 — £15.11
- Overtime (40 hours) — Mon – Sat — £15.68
- Bank Holidays — All Day — £18.81
Important Information
This role is for a Christmas period. Assignments are temporary and will automatically end once the site closes for the Christmas season.
