Job Description

Maritime Integration Project Manager (DV CLEARANCE)

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Location: Redhill
  • Salary: £45-£55k + benefits
  • Mandatory: SC Clearance + eligibility for DV Clearance

We are seeking a Maritime Integration Project Manager to oversee the delivery of several Defence maritime implementation projects. This role requires a proactive individual with extensive project management experience and technical expertise in maritime electrical installations.

Day-to-Day of the Role

  • Manage several maritime installation projects concurrently or sequentially.
  • Produce Equipment Guidance Packages (EGP), Installation Guidance Packages (IGP), and Modification Leaflets based on engineering designs, surveys, and stakeholder input.
  • Oversee the Change Impact Assessment Process (CIAP), collaborating with Engineering and Assurance Teams alongside customers.
  • Report project progress, schedule, risks, and opportunities internally and in customer governance meetings.
  • Manage priorities, lead-times for equipment procurement and configuration, and work with suppliers/subcontractors to ensure timely delivery according to the implementation plan.
  • Assist in enhancing our Project Management and through-life support functions.
  • Support other Project Managers to ensure smooth progression of projects through the company according to agreed timescales.
  • Represent the company at key customer project and commercial meetings.
  • Undertake additional project management duties as directed by the Programme Director.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, show tenacity, and proactively solve problems.
  • Must hold or have the ability to achieve DV Security Clearance.
  • Significant project management experience with UK MOD and other UK government departments.
  • Technical expertise in maritime electrical/electronic installations, IT networking, and satellite communication.
  • Experience in producing high-quality EGPs, IGPs, and Modification Leaflets.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in standard office applications.
  • Flexibility with travel and role requirements.
