What You’ll Be Doing
As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll be a key part of the parcel journey:
- Loading and unloading parcels from trailers
- Moving parcels through the warehouse safely and efficiently
- Operating mechanised parcel sorting equipment
- Sorting up to 40,000 items with your team during a single shift
- Ensuring every parcel – big or small – is handled with care and reaches its destination on time
What We’re Looking For
We welcome individuals from all backgrounds – no previous experience is required, but it’s a bonus if you’ve worked in similar environments.
Our ideal candidate:
- Is flexible and comfortable switching between tasks
- Can lift parcels up to 30kg and push loads up to 250kg (with assistance for heavier items)
- Is physically fit and able to manage long shifts on their feet
- Is motivated, reliable, and ready to work as part of a team
Pay rates & Shifts
The pay rates for warehouse roles at Parcelforce sites are described below based on service duration. Rates shown are payable for your shift when the shift description criteria are met. Rates may change during busy periods and Angard Staffing will communicate changes in advance.
- 0-12 Weeks service
- Mon – Sat Days (Hours Worked Between 06:00 – 22:00) – £13.80
- Mon – Sat Nights (Hours Worked Between 22:00 – 06:00) – £16.35
- Bank Holiday (All Day) – £16.35
- 13-25 Weeks service
- Mon – Sat Days (Hours Worked Between 06:00 – 22:00) – £14.38
- Mon – Sat Nights (Hours Worked Between 22:00 – 06:00) – £17.04
- Bank Holiday (All Day) – £26.81
- 26+ Weeks service
- Mon – Sat Days (Hours Worked Between 06:00 – 22:00) – £15.63
- Mon – Sat Nights (Hours Worked Between 22:00 – 06:00) – £18.29
- Bank Holiday (All Day) – £26.81
