We are seeking a Network Engineer to join a multi-skilled agile team, including security, service, and management, where teamwork is paramount. This role requires providing complex technical support as part of project deployments, including installation, troubleshooting, problem resolution, and maintenance.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide technical implementation of medium to large infrastructures within project timelines, identifying risks and ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
- Offer varied and complex technical support activities as part of project deployment, including installation, troubleshooting, problem resolution, and maintenance.
- Advise on preventive maintenance and configuration adjustments to improve product performance and customer satisfaction.
- Manage systems within SLA parameters, proposing and implementing improvements to meet service level requirements.
- Take ownership of diagnosing and resolving problems, engaging with third parties when necessary to resolve in-depth product issues.
- Stay updated with new products, tools, and techniques, promoting their use within the business to enhance capability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in independently implementing LAN networks and infrastructure patching following design specifications and resolving issues.
- Ability to meet project deadlines and manage costs within own scope of responsibility.
- Expertise in at least two of the following technologies and proficiency in two others: Junos, Cisco IOS, IPS/IDS (Firepower, SRX, FortiGate), Cisco ISE, NSX-T Load balancing (F5 or Citrix), Cloud networking (AWS or Azure), Network automation (Ansible, Python, Visual Basic, Terraform).
