Angard Staffing is looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as flexible (temporary) Mail Sorters with Royal Mail

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Mail Sorter, you’ll be at the heart of our operations:
- Unloading mail and parcels
- Sorting items by postcode and moving them through the warehouse
- Working efficiently to meet tight deadlines – some teams sort over a million items in a single shift!
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need to have worked for us before (we love new people!), but experience in warehouse or sorting work is a plus.
Our ideal candidate:
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced setting
- Pays close attention to detail
- Is flexible and comfortable switching between tasks
- Can push trolleys up to 250kg and lift mail bags up to 11kg
- Can stand for long periods during shifts
Pay & Shifts
The pay rates applicable for Mail Sorter roles within our Mail Centres and Parcel Hubs are payable for the entirety of your shift where the shift description criteria is met. Rates could be subject to change during busy periods; Angard staffing will communicate any change to your pay rates in advance.
- Day Shift — STARTS AND FINISHES BETWEEN 05:31 – 19:59 • Pay Rate £12.54
- Dawn Shift — STARTS BETWEEN 02:01 – 04:00 • Pay Rate £13.40
- Early 05:00 — STARTS BETWEEN 04:01 – 05:00 • Pay Rate £12.99
- Early 05:30 — STARTS BETWEEN 05:01 – 05:30 • Pay Rate £12.77
- Evening — FINISHES BETWEEN 20:00 – 21:39 • Pay Rate £13.18
- Lates — FINISHES BETWEEN 21:40 – 01:59 • Pay Rate £13.90
- Nights — THREE HOURS ACROSS 23:00 – 05:00 • Pay Rate £15.11
- Overtime (40 hours) — Mon – Sat • Pay Rate £15.68
- Bank Holidays — All Day • Pay Rate £18.81
