A global investment bank is currently recruiting for a Learning and Talent Analyst for a 12 month contract with longer term potential. This will be for an umbrella rate of £350 per day.
Based in Liverpool street, the role will include hybrid working with 3 days on site per week required.
Reporting to the Talent Development Manager, you would be responsible for the working aspects of learning operations, managing the operational, system and co-ordination related to Resourcing.
The role covers support on implementing learning aligned to the learning and business strategy and support with talent acquisition, as well as support for talent development applicable to the bank. From time to time, you will be required to support various HR projects, and act as back-up/support for other operational roles within HR.
Key Responsibilities
Learning and Talent Development
- Support the Talent Development Manager to identify learning needs/talent solutions relevant for the business lines and future need of the branch
- Champion change and develop practices that reflect current market trends and digital innovation
- Liaise with external providers to deliver the learning/talent propositions in an effective and cost efficient way including the preparation of contracts.
- Arrange in-house training; organise room/WebEx, communications, keep track of all waitlist, attendance and non-attendance, employee/vendor records and update spreadsheets
- Prepare, complete and analyse evaluation feedback and recommendations
- Organise and arrange events, training and Academies
- Work closely with HRA’s to support career pathways and career development including induction, employee experience, management academy and development initiative within the branch
Learning Operations
- Respond and keep records of all Learning and Study Requests and advise employees on application process
- Liaise with employee, Talent Development Manager, Procurement (if, applicable) and the Business Line for approval
- Prepare all Study Agreements
- Monitor and track Language study, attendees, attendance and homework rates – action as required
- Promote online learning, HRE learning platforms
- Ensure appropriate recording mechanisms are in place for the branch to track events/budget and spend so that reporting can be produced and training actively monitored.
- Manage Initiatives such for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion / Health and Wellbeing
- Manage programmes (Induction, Management Academy, Projects & Programmes)
- Ensure employee training records are kept up to date (facilitate the uploading of data from external providers)
- Ensure appropriate recording mechanisms are in place for the branch to track events/budget and spend so that reporting can be produced and training actively monitored
Financial Analysis
- Reconcile monthly and year-end financial reports, budgets and Invoices
- Keep track of languages expenditure
- Keep records of all expenditure by business line and budget allocation on a monthly basis
- Process and code all invoices
The ideal candidate
- Learning and Development experience
- HR administration experience would be desirable
- Intermediate level of excel essential
- Experience within investment banking or for a large corporate would be desirable
- A high level of written and verbal communication essential
