We are seeking a dedicated VMware Specialist to join our client and play a pivotal role in developing an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platform using advanced VMware technologies.
- Configure and optimise VMware vRealize Orchestrator (VRO) workflows to automate provisioning, deployment, and management tasks.
- Manage VMware Cloud Director (VCD) instances, including setting up resource pools, organizations, virtual data centers, and networking.
- Implement and configure NSX-T for software-defined networking and security within the virtualised environment.
- Provide technical expertise and support during testing, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues related to VMware infrastructure.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and customisation of VMware environments.
- Strong understanding of software-defined networking (SDN) principles and experience with NSX-T configuration and management.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
