Role Overview:
As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the Project Manager with project reporting and governance responsibilities. This includes progress reporting, risk and issue management, budget and financial management, planning and scheduling, and document control. You’ll focus on implementing project governance, reporting, and control tools and processes in line with TfL guidance.
Key Information:
- Location: Hybrid/ 2-3 days in Stratford Head Office
- Daily Rate: £275.55 PAYE or £370 Umbrella
- Interviews: Single stage
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Experience in Highways/Road projects (Engineering) – Essential
- Proficiency with traffic signals
- In-depth knowledge of project and programme management methodologies, especially in a transport setting
- Familiarity with TfL project and programme management methodologies and processes
- Proven track record of delivering work packages within projects
- Professional qualification in project management (e.g., APMP or Prince2) is desirable
