We are seeking a Voids Surveyor to join the council on a temporary basis. This role involves assessing and reporting on properties that are currently unoccupied, ensuring they are ready for re-letting in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have experience in property surveying and a keen eye for detail.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Conduct thorough surveys of vacant properties to assess condition and identify necessary repairs or improvements.
- Prepare detailed reports on findings and recommend actions to ensure properties meet the required standards for new tenants.
- Liaise with contractors and maintenance teams to coordinate repair works.
- Ensure all works are completed within set timeframes and budgets.
- Regularly update property status records and provide progress reports to management.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations during property inspections.
