We are looking for a Senior Merchandiser who knows how to translate data into smart retail, commercial decisions. What You’ll Be Doing
- You’ll take ownership of planning, forecasting, and trading across key categories - ensuring your insights drive sales, margin, and stock efficiency.
- Planning & Forecasting
- Lead all pre-season planning, analysing prior performance and building future strategies with the Buying team.
- Produce and manage WSSI forecasts that support buying decisions and sales objectives.
- Identify trading patterns, bestsellers, and continuity lines, ensuring both store and online channels are effectively supported.
- Trading & Stock Management
- Oversee daily and weekly trading performance, taking proactive actions to maximise sales and safeguard profit.
- Manage intake and OTB to keep stock levels aligned with seasonal plans.
- Approve ranges and purchase orders, ensuring they meet margin and pricing targets.
- Pricing & Commercial Strategy
- Develop pricing structures that support wider business objectives.
- Lead promotional planning and markdown activity, working closely with the commercial team on key campaigns.
- Provide insight, challenge, and guidance to cross-functional partners, acting as a key commercial voice to Buying and leadership.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven merchandising experience within a retail environment.
- Solid knowledge of WSSI, OTB, and all trading levers.
- High numerical and analytical capability, with the ability to turn data into actionable plans.
- Strong communication skills, able to influence and collaborate across teams.
