Job Description Summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Care Manager to join the Reed Cambridge office within our Community Care business. We are seeking a person who has a passion for making a difference, and looking for a successful career which offers recognition and reward. For over 60 years, Reed has been proud and privileged to provide person-centred direct care and support services to vulnerable adults, children, young people, and families in the community. The key purpose of the Registered Manager role within Reed is to promote community care services within the designated location. The Registered Manager will be responsible for continued growth and development of the service and is required to achieve and maintain CQC registration. This role drives the provision of services to adults, children, and young people of all abilities and in all aspects of person-centred care and we work hard to maintain the highest standard of care and quality of service within the communities we support. What you'll be doing: Lead and forge strong relationships with target, core, and active clients. Be proactive within the community care market and take action to obtain and maintain competitor insights. Meeting families and conducting assessments/ care planning. Writing up and overseeing review for care plans and assessments. Attending visits and networking within the sector such as registered manager forums, provider meetings, and opportunities to promote the service where required. Be the point of escalation for rota management and complaint management. Speaking with Families about repeat issues. Negotiation of terms, pricing, and packages of care reviews Managing the team, including reviews, KPI setting, performance and conduct. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience within care profession or similar RFQ / NVQ / RMA/ 5 in care (or equivalent or above) or recognised social / health care qualification or willingness to achieve this. Proven experience working within the domiciliary / home care / complex care as a person-centred outcome-based service. Clear understanding of responsibilities & risks surrounding confidentiality & safeguarding, Experience/qualification/training in using IT systems and databases (Excel, Word etc.) Self-motivated to develop themselves and promote the business.
