Quality Assurance Manager Annual Salary: Up to £35,000 Location: Evesham Job Type: Full-time Working Hours: 8am to 5pm, Monday to FridayWe are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Manager on behalf of our client to oversee their Quality Control Team. This pivotal role ensures the effective communication of issues, new procedures, policies, and customer requirements to production staff. The Quality Assurance Manager is also responsible for training staff and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance across the site. Day-to-day of the role: Maintain the Quality system including HACCP and TACCP, ensuring all documents are up-to-date. Act as a deputy to the Technical Manager when off-site. Facilitate communication between various departments such as Sales & Marketing, Production, and Quality & Technical. Oversee the completion of samples and production trials, maintaining a testing schedule. Communicate quality issues across departments and complete internal audits ensuring actions are completed and signed off. Review production records, highlight areas of concern, and ensure staff training on Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), site hygiene, and food safety to specification standards. Manage the QC rota, ensuring sufficient coverage and effective team management. Support customer audits on-site, preparing necessary documents and traceability. Address customer issues promptly and effectively, maintaining customer specifications and adhering to company policies. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in a Quality Assurance management role, preferably within a similar industry. Strong understanding of HACCP, TACCP, and relevant quality management systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of training and motivating staff. Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain organized in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to implement effective solutions.
