Job Title: Production Manager Location: Harlow Contract Type: Full Time, Monday-Friday Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. This role involves managing production processes, ensuring product quality, and maintaining safety standards. The Production Manager will report directly to the Operations Manager and play a crucial role in implementing company policies and initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Production Management: Oversee and manage all production activities to ensure efficient and timely production of goods to the highest quality standard. Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and production targets. Monitor production processes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimise production efficiency. Coordinate with the supply chain to ensure timely availability of raw materials.Team Management and Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the production team to build a high-performing and motivated workforce. Provide coaching, training, and feedback to staff to enhance their skills and capabilities. Encourage a positive and collaborative work environment to foster teamwork and productivity.Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards. Support and deliver the company\’s safety training programs and initiatives to promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance.Quality: Implement and maintain quality measures to ensure consistent product quality. Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to identify and address quality issues. Support Operations and Compliance teams to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years\’ experience in Production and Management. Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, and quality control standards. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance requirements, and inventory management.
