The client is a leading development and construction company providing comprehensive Facilities Management services, including mechanical and electrical engineering support, cleaning, catering, and grounds maintenance. They are seeking a Premises Manager to join the Commercial Property Maintenance team. The role involves ensuring operational delivery and performance align with contract obligations and business processes.

You will manage a team of Premises Assistants, overseeing duties such as security, porterage, cleaning, and site supervision. Additionally, you will monitor planned and reactive maintenance to ensure compliance with SLAs and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Lead Engineers for reactive and PPM works.
  • Comply with statutory and regulatory requirements, including Health and Safety legislation.
  • Ensure planned and reactive maintenance is carried out per contract PPM plan, SLAs, and KPIs.
  • Develop direct reports through annual PDR processes and performance management.
  • Monitor site cleanliness and report deficiencies or damage.
  • Oversee materials and stock delivery to maintain budgets and service performance.
  • Report management, health, safety, welfare, environmental, labour, utilities, and personnel information.
  • Manage contractor activity on site with Premises Assistants.
Requirements:

For this role, the successful candidate will have experience in FM service delivery, a sound knowledge of H&S Legislation and COSHH. You will likely have an ISOH Managing Safely certification, experience with building maintenance systems, and knowledge of Concept CAFM systems is preferred.
