REED Accountancy is delighted to be working in partnership with an established company based in the Comber Area in their appointment of a Payroll/Accounts Administrator to join their dynamic team on a temporary basis (6 weeks). Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Payroll/Accounts Administrator will predominantly support in the preparation of weekly and monthly payroll as well as being involved in the month end & year end tasks.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Preparation of weekly and monthly payroll for approval of the Payroll Manager
- Bank reconciliations, credit control, debtor queries, credit notes and customer queries.
- Checking, posting and paying expenses & credit cards.
- Month end activities to support audit
- Communicate with suppliers in a professional manner.
- Liaise closely with other departments on a daily basis.
- Preparation of ad-hoc reports when required.
- Strong end-to-end payroll experience
- Previous experience of working in a busy accounts office environment in the delivery of relevant, timely and accurate financial and management information including daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly information to support in the preparation of year-end
- Strong knowledge of computer-based presentation software especially MS Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Good time management skills with the ability to turn work around quickly and accurately.
- Ability to work under pressure whilst meeting deadlines.
