Reed HR are working with a highly regarded property brand based in Belfast. This newly created role will report to the Managing Director and work closely with the SLT of the business. Although this is a stand-alone role you will work closely with the HR team at the wider parent company. The role is a full time or open to candidates seeking a 4 day week. After a successful bedding in period, there will be the option to work one day a week from home.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Collaborate with management to identify key positions and talent gaps, implementing effective recruitment, retention, and talent development strategies.
- Manage the full recruitment and onboarding cycle, including advertising vacancies, shortlisting with line managers, and issuing employment contracts.
- Ensure a conducive and safe work environment that supports the health and well-being of all employees.
- Provide expert counsel on people-related matters including managing change, performance, and employee relations issues.
- Support the implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, regular feedback, and performance evaluations.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives in conjunction with line managers and support the implementation of people initiatives within the business.
- Identify training needs and coordinate the development and delivery of training programs.
- Maintain and update the HR System (HRIS), utilizing HR data and analytics to provide insights and support decision-making.
- Work with senior leaders to create an attractive employer brand proposition that attracts, develops, and retains the best talent.
- Foster a team culture that embodies the company values, encourages feedback, recognition, and shared learning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar HR role.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, legislation, and regulations.
- Ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other relevant software.
