An established and growing independent financial planning firm is looking to recruit a Client Support / IFA Administrator to support its advisers and deliver an outstanding service to private clients. This is a varied, client‑facing role suited to someone who enjoys working closely with advisers, providers and clients, and who takes pride in delivering a high‑quality, compliant administration service.

You will act as a key link between advisers, clients and providers, supporting the full advice process and ensuring a smooth and professional client experience.

Key responsibilities:
  • Liaising directly with clients and third parties via phone, email and post
  • Managing advisers' diaries, arranging review meetings and issuing pre‑meeting information
  • Obtaining accurate policy and valuation information from product providers
  • Maintaining internal systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity of client data
  • Keeping client files fully compliant with FCA requirements and internal processes
  • Supporting new business processing and preparing quotations where required
  • Executing trades as instructed by advisers
  • General client care, including welcoming clients to the office
  • Contributing ideas to improve administration processes and enhance the client experience
Skills and experience required:
  • Previous experience in an IFA / financial planning administration or client support role
  • Confidence dealing with private clients (including high‑net‑worth individuals) and financial institutions
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with advisers, clients and providers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a regulated environment
  • Experience drafting client and provider correspondence under adviser supervision
