Finance Administrator | Permanent | North Belfast
Reed Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a client who are based in the outskirts of the city centre in North Belfast and are recruiting for a Finance Administrator to join their team.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity with the option to work from home 1 day per week after successful completion of the probationary period.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to build experience within a finance and administration remit, to join a structured team environment and learn.
Key responsibilities will include:
Assist with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable function
Maintain and update customer and supplier records in finance systems
Process customer credits and supplier invoices with accuracy and attention to detail
Generate financial reports and assist with document management and filing
Respond to customer and supplier queries via phone and email in a polite and professional manner
Handle inbound finance-related calls confidently and efficiently
Monitor shared finance inboxes, ensuring timely responses and follow-up
Support the Credit Control, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams with routine admin tasks
Assist with payment allocations and help ensure smooth transactional processes
Contribute to improvements in administrative processes and internal communication
Required skills & experience:
Applicants will have previous experience in an administrative or customer service role and ideally some exposure to finance related tasks or invoicing processing
Applicants will have excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping, and strong written and verbal communication skills with a positive, can-do attitude
Applicants will have the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a busy office environment
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel & Word) is essential.
