Business Development Executive x2 My client based in Newtownabbey, are currently seeking x2 experienced Business Development Executive to join their team. One position is to build the business in the offshore Operations and Management and the second position is for onshore – Construction and Civils sector. These are Full-Time, Permanent Positions. Working Hours: Monday – Thursday (in the office) and working from home on Friday. With a salary of £28,000 – £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience). Job Role: You will be responsible for expanding the client base, focusing on onshore and offshore projects. Essential Criteria: Proven track record in business development ideally within the construction and civil engineering industry although specific industry experience is not essential. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or relevant field. This is not an essential requirement. An understanding of construction and civil engineering processes, technologies, and market trends would be advantageous. Proficient in the use of CRM software and Microsoft Office suite. Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to prioritise a busy workload while working under pressure. Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. Flexibility and willingness to travel to sector and industry related events in the UK and Europe. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Research and identify potential clients and key decision-makers in the construction and civils sector, both onshore and offshore. Develop and execute strategic plans to engage new clients and expand business opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with clients through regular communication and meetings, understanding their needs, and proposing tailored solutions. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of services and offerings with client requirements. Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients. Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives set by the company. Prepare and submit proposals, quotations and necessary paperwork required to secure business using the marketing team for support.
