A national technical services provider is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to support customers across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands. This field-based role offers strong earning potential, ongoing training, and the chance to work with a wide variety of commercial and public-sector clients.

Role Overview

You will deliver maintenance, compliance testing, fault-finding and reactive support across a range of fire and electronic security systems. The role is ideal for a multi-skilled engineer with strong diagnostic ability and a customer-focused attitude.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planned preventative maintenance of fire alarm systems to UK standards
  • Servicing and testing of emergency lighting
  • Diagnosis and maintenance of intruder alarm systems
  • Servicing, testing and optimisation of CCTV systems
  • Support across access control and related equipment
  • Accurate completion of digital service reports
  • Participation in a structured callout rota with enhanced earnings
  • Ensuring safe working practices on all sites

What You'll Need

  • Experience working on at least three of: fire, emergency lighting, intruder, CCTV, access control
  • Strong fault-finding skills
  • Knowledge of UK fire & security standards
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Electrical experience

Desirable: FIA training, ECS/CSCS, IPAF/PASMA.
