Are you an experienced Service Engineer with strong electrical control knowledge? Looking for a role with worldwide travel, technical challenge, and the chance to work with specialised industrial equipment? We are recruiting on behalf of a well‑established global engineering manufacturer supplying advanced lubrication and coating systems to the glass container industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive engineering team where no two days are the same.

The Role

  • Installing, commissioning, testing, and servicing advanced lubrication and coating machinery at customer sites across the UK and overseas
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical control and PLC-related issues
  • Providing on-site technical support and delivering an excellent customer experience
  • Producing accurate service and engineering reports
  • Participating in an on‑call rota to support global clients
  • Representing the business professionally as a key point of contact for international customers

About You

  • Qualified to ONC level or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (HNC preferred)
  • Experienced with electrical control systems and comfortable with mechanical aspects
  • Able to work independently, under pressure, and to tight deadlines
  • Flexible to travel frequently in the UK and overseas, including outside normal working hours
  • PC literate, with some exposure to PLC systems (Siemens or Schneider advantageous)
  • A strong communicator who can build rapport with customers worldwide
  • In possession of a full UK driving licence
  • Foreign language skills are a bonus but not essential.
