Are you an experienced Service Engineer with strong electrical control knowledge? Looking for a role with worldwide travel, technical challenge, and the chance to work with specialised industrial equipment? We are recruiting on behalf of a well‑established global engineering manufacturer supplying advanced lubrication and coating systems to the glass container industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive engineering team where no two days are the same.
The Role
- Installing, commissioning, testing, and servicing advanced lubrication and coating machinery at customer sites across the UK and overseas
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical control and PLC-related issues
- Providing on-site technical support and delivering an excellent customer experience
- Producing accurate service and engineering reports
- Participating in an on‑call rota to support global clients
- Representing the business professionally as a key point of contact for international customers
About You
- Qualified to ONC level or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (HNC preferred)
- Experienced with electrical control systems and comfortable with mechanical aspects
- Able to work independently, under pressure, and to tight deadlines
- Flexible to travel frequently in the UK and overseas, including outside normal working hours
- PC literate, with some exposure to PLC systems (Siemens or Schneider advantageous)
- A strong communicator who can build rapport with customers worldwide
- In possession of a full UK driving licence
- Foreign language skills are a bonus but not essential.
