Join a long-established, reputable, and thriving local accountancy practice as an Audit & Accounts Senior. This role is based in the bustling South Belfast area, offering great connectivity and an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified or post-qualified Chartered Accountant with varied audit exposure.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Work as part of the audit team on a variety of audit assignments including commercial, charity, and financial services sectors.
- Involve in all aspects of the assignments, including planning, fieldwork, and completion.
- Act as the lead on the fieldwork stage, ensuring all aspects are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Review the work of junior staff and provide mentoring to help them grow professionally.
- Report directly to the audit managers, providing detailed updates and insights on the audit process.
This role will also include or give you development in the areas of:
- Preparation of accounts for sole-traders, partnerships and limited companies
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- ACA or ACCA qualification.
- Training contract completed in a majority audit role.
- Minimum of two years post-qualification experience.
- Proficiency in the use of accounting software such as Sage, Xero, along with Microsoft Excel and Word.
