Reed are excited to be working with an industry leader known for iconic brands and a commitment to excellence. They are currently seeking a highly organised and proactive Administration and Purchasing Team Leader to support their teams during a maternity leave period. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth operation of their Administration and Purchasing departments, ensuring high standards of productivity and efficiency are met.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Oversee the Administration team to ensure productivity and quality targets are consistently achieved.
  • Manage the Purchasing team to process orders accurately and on time.
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels and oversee processing performance across teams.
  • Ensure customer orders are processed efficiently within agreed lead times and that purchased items are delivered on schedule.
  • Maintain accurate customer files and orders.
  • Ensure staff well-being, training and Health & Safety requirements are maintained and properly documented.
  • Facilitate effective communication between all stakeholders within the operation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong organisational and workload prioritisation skills.
  • Confident in making decisions and working autonomously.
  • Experience in managing or supervising administrative processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Understanding of staff wellbeing, training and Health & Safety requirements.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and improve operational efficiency.
