– £40,000 per annum EMPLOYMENT: Permanent, full-time, office-based opportunity My client is a well-established and growing company based in Belfast within the Industry Sector currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The successful candidate can be qualified-by-experience, part-qualified, or a fully qualified Accountant, as long as you have strong experience within industry accounting and a willingness to take ownership of the accounting function: Key responsibilities include: Preparation of monthly management accounts Year End Audit preparation Supervision of Accounts team Maintenance of sales ledger, purchase ledger and nominal ledger mapping, reports, reconciliations & month end processing Bank reconciliations Weekly & Monthly payroll processing including maintenance of all regulatory Pension provisions Setting up all BACS/FPS bank payments NI & ROI VAT and statutory returns including EC Sales List Filing Customs Supplementary Declarations Oversee Credit Control Overseeing all stock and invoicing Overall responsibility for all IT systems Preparation and maintenance of supplier reports What you’ll need to succeed! Have at least 3 years’ strong industry experience within a similar role, preparing management accounts Be a qualified-by-experience, part-qualified, or fully qualified Accountant Experience of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems Demonstrate the ability to manage and prioritise workload Ability to use initiative and work with minimum direction.
