Salary: £60-65k // 4 days on site, 1 day WFH

The Role

As Senior Product Development Manager, you'll be at the centre of bringing exciting new products to life - from bold ideas to successful launches. You’ll own the NPD strategy, inspire a talented team, and collaborate with chefs, customers, and cross-functional teams to deliver products that stand out in a competitive market. If you thrive in a hands-on, agile environment where creativity meets commercial thinking, you'll feel right at home.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Driving and refining the full NPD critical path
  • Leading projects from concept to launch with excellence at every stage (including Process and Factory Scale Up!)
  • Acting as the go-to contact for internal teams and customers
  • Preparing key documentation and presenting with confidence
  • Managing, mentoring, and motivating an ambitious NPD team
  • Working closely with chefs to turn briefs into winning products
  • Tracking trends, benchmarking competitors, and spotting new opportunities
  • Building strong customer relationships based on trust and expertise
  • Embedding a high-performing, collaborative team culture

What You Bring

Experience:

  • Proven NPD experience in food manufacturing (ideally food-to-go)
  • Strong understanding of factory processes and cross-functional collaboration
  • Leadership experience - managing teams or departments
  • Confident in customer-facing roles (retail or foodservice)

Skills:

  • Excellent communication & stakeholder management
  • A natural project leader with strong organisation skills
  • Commercially aware, process-driven, and solutions-focused
  • Great problem solver, adaptable, and keen to drive positive change
