Join our client as a Quality Assurance Officer, where you will play a crucial role in verifying and maintaining the delivery of technical and food safety standards across the site. This position involves working closely with the Technical Team Leader and various business areas to ensure compliance with both customer and NESI requirements.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Verify and measure the delivery of technical and food safety standards across the site.
- Ensure the technical requirements are understood and implemented by the Operations team.
- Conduct monthly procedural audits and an annual review to identify trends and implement preventative measures.
- Complete GMP audits as part of a multi-disciplinary team and manage non-conformance reports.
- Deliver environmental product Micro and chemical monitoring programmes.
- Support the investigation of complaints using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrence.
- Manage technical documentation ensuring it is accurate and easily retrievable.
- Support both internal and external audits representing the technical function.
- Conduct daily, monthly, and annual calibration checks as required.
- Attend meetings for cross-functional discussions and complete hygiene swabs to verify cleaning standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Recent experience in a similar role, preferably from a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical and food safety knowledge.
- Experience within a FMCG environment.
- Working knowledge of technical management systems.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to analyse data and support in the formulation of action plans.
- Proven ability to drive increased technical compliance through a coaching and development style.
