Content Writer Location: Edinburgh Job Type: Full-time Temporary ( 6 months +) 20.00 – 21.98 per hour We are seeking a Content Writer to manage the process of auditing, rewriting, and reviewing our website and work-winning content. This role reports to the Communications, Brand and Marketing Manager and is crucial in ensuring our content is consistent with the firm\’s tone of voice, stands out against competitors, resonates with target audiences, and builds trust in the firm. Day-to-day of the role: Audit existing materials to ensure alignment with current standards and brand voice. Manage the process to collate information to create revised web and work-winning content. Work closely with subject matter experts across the firm to rewrite existing content and create new content that better reflects our brand and ensures consistency. Oversee the auditing and rewriting of lawyer biographies for both web and work-winning purposes. Ensure all content is SEO-friendly and adheres to the firm\’s style guide. Required Skills & Qualifications: Degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant field. Proven experience as a copywriter, ideally within a corporate or professional services environment. Strong understanding of SEO principles and experience writing SEO-friendly content. Experience working with style guides and delivering content that meets high professional standards. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively cross-functionally. Highly professional with a methodical and organised approach to work. Impeccable attention to detail, delivering grammatically flawless, polished copy under tight deadlines.
