Legal Secretary/Legal Administrator

Reed are working with a FANTASTIC legal firm that are on the hunt for a Legal Secretary on a permanent basis!

Role- Legal Secretary

Salary- 30,000 (ish)

Location- Edinburgh

Within this role you will be allocated one or more fee earner's to provide direct assistance with secretarial work to include:

• Dictation, to include the typing of letters, emails and file notes
• The preparation and sharing of Court Documents
• Assist in preparing presentations
• Sending of emails on behalf of fee earner
• Organising, maintaining and sharing of legal documents, to include filing, scanning, photocopying and the preparation of share files.
• Scheduling appointments, booking meeting rooms and managing fee earner diaries
• Monitoring Court Inbox as required
• The answering of phones and greeting visitors; responding to inquiries and providing assistance to visitors and clients
• Handling of confidential information
• Assisting with billing requirements
• Opening, sorting and distributing mail, and dealing with outgoing mail when required.
• Interacting with other solicitors and their clerical assistants, as well as Counsel and their clerks,
• Liaising with the Court administration teams when enrolling motions, lodging documents and dealing with the court inbox.
