Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons to students in Years 7-11, adhering to the national curriculum.

• Inspire students to engage deeply with literature, writing, and critical thinking.

• Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing feedback to help them achieve their personal and academic goals.

• Foster a classroom environment based on mutual respect, inclusivity, and a love of learning.

• Participate in departmental and whole-school initiatives to promote literacy and student development.

• Contribute to the wider life of the school community through extracurricular activities or pastoral support., * Work in a supportive and collaborative environment with opportunities for professional growth.

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
