Location: Rotherham
Salary: £15.2677, with a supplement hourly rate of £2.611 and an attendance bonus of 4.75% average salary of £36,000 inclusive of supplement and attendance bonus.
Shift Pattern: Days and Afters (Monday-Friday)
This role is working rotating days and afters, Monday-Friday. Days shifts are 6am-2pm, Afters shifts are 12pm-8pm (finishing at 11am on Friday on days, 5pm on Friday on afters).
Reed is pleased to be working with a leading manufacturer based in Rotherham! As the business continues to grow significantly, we are recruiting for a CNC / Manual Machinist to join their team.
Main Areas of Responsibility:
- Operate CNC and manual machines (turning and milling).
- Provide services to production, including:
- Repairing
- Polishing
- Measuring
- Modifying mould equipment
Knowledge/Skills:
- Fully trained in operating CNC and manual lathes and milling machines.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Essential skills in online programming and editing (Fanuc & XYZ systems).
- Preferred experience with CAD/CAM systems.
- Bench fitting experience desirable but not essential.
- Welding experience desirable but not essential.
- Apprentice trained preferred, but relevant experience considered. (Ideally, 2-3 years of experience)
- Fork truck license beneficial.
