This is a secure environment that supports the individual needs of the children and young people in their care. Providing placements for ages 10 -18 years old with full residential care, educational facilities, and healthcare provision. You will have a minimum 2 years' experience of working with young people and a Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People or equivalent is advantageous. Pay and Benefits Basic Pay – £26,421 (Average earning including Secure Allowance £32,482) Hours – Average 37 hours per week. A mixture of early and late shifts and sleep-ins.Responsibilities of the role Help to create a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for young people. Build trusting relationships, understanding young people's needs and interests. Provide primary care that is responsive to individual needs. Manage behaviour and develop strategies for longer term progress. Plan and organise activities to enhance young people's experiences day to day and for special occasions.
