Reed Engineering are seeking a Cable Assembly Technician to join a company who are looking to expand their team. The company supply a range of cable assemblies to meet the demands of the growing underwater technology industry, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in soldering and the ability to test and design electronic components.
Location: Aberdeen
Day to day roles may include:
- Work closely with the production team to support the assembly and wiring of production jobs
- Adhere to quality standards by following set procedures
- Inspect work and report any production errors
- Perform soldering tasks and work towards achieving IPC-620 standard (training will be provided)
- Utilise test equipment and fixtures as required, maintaining high-quality standards
- Take full responsibility for personal health and safety
Required:
- Experience of soldering and electronics
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of technical drawings
- Good attention to detail
